Top Reasons Pet-Owners Utilize CBD Products

The Speed of Life has us all in a constant state of movement and activity. There are certain things, however, that stop us in our tracks. When our pets are not feeling well or acting like themselves a response is necessary. Everyone knows the importance of a vet visit when these instances occur. There are times when medications are less than a favorable solution.

Alternative products and treats are being used around the world for pets. Dogs and cats with anxiety problems can be treated this way. Pets that have suffered injuries or are battling illness may also be helped with CBD oil products. It’s certainly the pet owners challenge and responsibility to find the right solution to address these concerns.

Here are some of the top reasons that owners consider CBD products:

Resolving Anxiety Problems

Just like many people struggle with bouts of anxiety our pets do as well. You may have noticed a bit of separation anxiety in your dog. In some cases, this is something that resolves itself with time. There are other pets that don’t naturally recover. Some seem to get worse and require something to help them calm down. CBD products are a terrific option for this anxiety.

Combatting Health Issues

Local Frederick County owner of Hive Bake Shop, Rebekah Ontiveros developed The OG brand of dog treats as a solution for her dog Kelso. This is a CBD line of products from her Kinetic Reserve Label. At one point Kelso was suffering from various health issues and was taking 2 doses of human allergy medications daily. After eating the CBD product The OG, he has been medication-free for the past 7 months. This was a positive change in both health and behavior for her pet.

Addressing Physical Symptoms

According to the Canine Journal, pets experiencing an array of symptoms can be helped with CBD products. Some of the most common symptoms that our four-legged friends may suffer from include arthritis, chronic inflammation, and joint pain. Utilizing the proper dosages of treats and other products on the market with CBD oil is important to keep your pets safe and healthy.

Chronicling Europe & The Baltics 2018 – Priceless Impressions

Sunny St. Petersburg Exploration

Day five on board may have started like any other busy morning on these Dave Koz Cruises, but it was unique. Some early risers drank their coffee to the sounds of Kenny Lattimore, Chris Walker, and Javier Colon. Those of us a bit groggy after a late night of music, delectable cuisine, and dancing woke to a beautiful sunny day in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Now, I am aware that there was an elephant in the room when it came to expectations and preconceived notions. My very first impressions of this city were breath-taking. The views of the water and broader landscapes were priceless. The organization for excursions into the city was detailed and understandable.

Ours was a guided tour that journeyed through St. Petersburg ending at the Hermitage. We had three glorious hours to see artwork that could not be viewed anywhere else in the world. Before stepping into this renowned museum, we took tons of photos just like everyone in the crowd of tourists.

I hadn’t expected to ride through a vibrant and bustling cosmopolitan city. The Speed of Life of this day was filled with surprises and education about this particular Baltic port of call.

Movie Genres – Experiment with Different Cinematography

Many people have one set go-to genre of movie and never branch out. The only problem with this is that you will likely miss some really great work. Those who enjoy an exciting action flick could delve into a thriller.

This is like going from Mad Max to the Accountant. The leap is not that major when the work is good and the story line is developed. Another option to consider during this sort of exploration is work from the past.

Surprisingly, films like Casablanca, North by Northwest and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof are relevant to today’s current events. The all include stories that are serious, comic and relatable. The different ways that directors presented locations can be appreciated.

Find a new movie to view that is a change from your first choice. It is possible to tailor a more diverse appetite for movie-watching. Streaming services allow viewers to explore as many genres as they want.

Let's Talk About Race!

Racial tensions are very high in many portions of the country today. The undertones involving race are hidden in conversation. Popular culture, whether it be movies or television try to tackle the issue. In some instances, there are very attempts and the sparking of conversation. The movie The Help or The Butler are terrific examples of these attempts.

One of the primary issues of race is that REAL conversations are not going on regularly. People of different races, friends, co-workers and acquaintances often tip-toe around the issue. It's uncomfortable to display sensitivity, especially if you're a minority. Those in the majority tend to feel that there are explosive topics to run away from, which leads to ignoring race.

Years ago we participated in a monthly discussions that focused on race and the difficult topics. The goal of this happy dinner time was to search for ways to reconcile where racial issues are concerned. Each person no matter their race was able to speak and share. This type of conversation is few and far between. I wish we were more brave when it comes to getting to know each other better.

Great Ideas to Steer the Race Conversation:

* Regular Discussion Groups
* Focused Blog Posts
* Mixed Race Dinner Dates
* Online Focus Groups
